The Business plan

One upgrade for a business that books, sends and gets paid, with or without a website: bookings, the Ask us chat, newsletters, review and payment requests, signed forms, gift cards and to-dos.

Business is an upgrade for one business, whether it has a website from us or not. It adds the features that bring customers in and keep them coming back, on top of everything in your plan:

  • Bookings & RSVPs: appointments, visits and class sign-ups booked on your site, with class packs. See Take bookings on your site.
  • The Ask us chat: answers visitors' questions from your site, and passes the rest to you. See Ask us chat.
  • Newsletters sent to your email list. See Send a newsletter.
  • Review requests that ask customers for a Google review. See Ask for reviews.
  • Payment requests: a link to pay a deposit or a bill by card, or an invoice with line items, tax and a due date. See Request a payment.
  • Signed forms and waivers, kept as PDFs. See Signed forms and waivers.
  • Gift cards and coupons with a code you scan at the till.
  • To-dos: one list for your team. See To-dos.

If you have more than one business, each one chooses for itself. Putting Business on one doesn't change the others.

What it costs

For a business with a website, Business is $24 a month on the yearly plan ($288 a year, which is $192 on top of the $96 plan), or $32 a month on the monthly plan ($20 on top of the $12 plan). It's billed with your plan, on the same card.

A business with no website pays $16 a month billed yearly ($192 a year), or $20 a month. With a website plan already running on your account it's added to that bill; without one it has a subscription of its own. See Take bookings without a website.

You don't need Business for one feature: each is also an add-on you can buy on its own, on the site's Plan page.

FeatureOn its own
Bookings & RSVPs$5 a month
Ask us chat$7 a month
Newsletter sending$4 a month
Review requests$3 a month
Payment requests$2 a month (included with the Online store)
Signed forms and waivers$2 a month
Gift cards and coupons$2 a month
To-dos$3 a month

All eight are $28 a month bought one by one, so Business is the better buy once you want about five on the yearly plan, or six month to month. A site on Business doesn't pay for those add-ons too.

Add Business

  • A business with no website: open Business plan in your dashboard menu, choose yearly or monthly, and pay. Its booking page opens as soon as the payment goes through.
  • When you launch: on Launch your site, tick Business under Business and add-ons before you choose monthly or yearly. The prices on the cards include it. If you set up your site with guided setup and picked add-ons that cost more on their own than Business, it's already ticked.
  • Any time after: in your dashboard, click Plan on the site's card, then Upgrade to Business. The page shows what you pay today, for the rest of your plan's month or year, charged to the card your plan uses. From your next renewal, Business is part of your plan's price.

Add-ons the site already had for these features end when you upgrade, and what's left of them comes off your bill.

Without Business or the add-on

Your editor still shows these screens, so you can see what they do. Each says … is in the Business plan, with its add-on's price and a link to the Plan page:

  • Newsletter: write newsletters and send yourself a test, but sending to your list needs Business or the add-on.
  • Reviews: set up when to ask, but requests go out only with Business or the add-on.
  • Payments: the Online store add-on includes payment requests too.
  • Signed forms: a form that asks for a signature can't be published without Business or the add-on.

Go back to the plan

  1. In your dashboard, click Business on the site's card.
  2. Click Go back to the base plan.
  3. Tick the features to keep as add-ons, then click Go back to the base plan.

Business stays until the end of the month or year you've paid for, and there's no refund for the rest of it. Then the features you didn't tick stop, and the add-ons you ticked start. Forms that ask for a signature keep signed copies for 30 days more (see Signed forms and waivers). Your contacts, messages, bookings and signed forms stay. Changed your mind? Click Keep Business before then.
