Get help
Ask the assistant how to do anything, write to our team when you need a person, and ask for what your site can't do yet.
You never have to work out the editor alone. Ask the assistant in your own words, and it shows you how. When you need a person, it writes the message for you.
Ask the assistant
- Click Help at the top of the editor. On your dashboard, click the Help button in the bottom corner.
- Type your question the way you'd ask a friend, like "How do I put up our holiday hours?", and press Enter. You can also click one of the example questions.
- Read the answer. It gives you the steps with the names of the buttons to click.
The assistant knows which page and section you have open, so you can ask about "this section" or "this page". On a phone, the help panel covers the screen; close it with the × to get back to editing.
What an answer can show you
- The steps, using the same names you see on screen.
- A guide from this help center. Click Read the guide to open it in a new tab.
- A video showing the task, with captions. Click play.
- A button that opens the right screen, like Open Business info.
If something isn't working, it can look at your site first: whether your last publish worked, your domain's status, your form messages, your plan and your credits. It only looks; it never changes anything.
Did it help?
Under each answer, click Yes or No. If you click No, the assistant takes a more careful look and tries again. If it still can't help, it offers to write to our team for you.
Write to our team
Some things need a person: billing and refunds, canceling, a domain or email problem, or something that's broken on our side. For those, the assistant drafts a message to our team:
- Check the About, Subject and Message, and change anything you like.
- Click Send to our team.
You get an email confirming we have it, and a person answers by email within 2 business days. It's free. You can also click Write to our team at the bottom of the help panel any time and write the message yourself.
Ask for something your site can't do yet
If you ask for something no section or setting does, like a price calculator or another company's widget, the assistant says so and words the request for you.
- Check the request under What you'd ask for, and change it if you like.
- Click Get a price in AI changes. The request is filled in for you.
- Click Ask. AI may ask a question or two first, then you see what it costs before anything is made, and you pay nothing if it fails or you discard it.
If AI can't do it, the change offers Have us do it: a person does it for a fixed price from $25 to $100. See AI changes.
Is it free?
Asking the assistant is free, and so is writing to our team. You only pay for changes you approve: AI changes, and work done by a person, always priced before anything starts.
Still stuck?
Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
