Keep your team's to-dos in one list

One list for everyone at your business, with labels, due dates, checklists and tasks that repeat.

To-dos is one shared list for your business. Everyone with access to the business sees the same list and can add to it, editors included.

The To-dos add-on is $3 a month, or it comes with the Business plan. Turn it on from your dashboard: open your site's Plan page and press Add next to To-dos. To-dos then appears in your dashboard's menu.

Add a task

Type in the box at the top of the list and press Enter. You can say more in the same line:

  • A date: today, tomorrow, Friday, next week, in 3 days, or 10/31
  • A priority: !high, !med or !low
  • A label: #orders

For example, Call the supplier Friday !high #orders adds "Call the supplier", due Friday, high priority, with the label "orders". If you meant the word as part of the title, press the x next to the date it found.

Press a task to open it. There you can add notes, a link and a checklist. Each change saves by itself.

Find your way around

  • Today shows what's due today, with anything overdue above it. Reschedule to today moves all the overdue tasks at once.
  • Upcoming shows the next seven days, then later.
  • Inbox holds tasks with no label.
  • All is everything still open.
  • Board gives each label its own card.
  • Finished is what's done.

Press labels to narrow any list to the tasks that have all of them. Search looks through titles, notes and label names.

The number next to To-dos in the menu counts what's due today or overdue. To-dos doesn't send email: that number is your reminder.

Make a task repeat

Give the task a due date, then choose under Repeat: every day, every weekday, every week, every month, every year, or Custom… for something like every 2 weeks on Monday and Wednesday.

When you finish a repeating task, the next one appears on its next date. If you finish one late, it comes back on its next date after today, so you don't get a pile of overdue copies. Undo takes the new one back.

Change or delete labels

Press the pencil next to a label to rename it, change its color or delete it. Deleting a label takes it off its tasks and keeps the tasks. Any task left with no labels goes to your Inbox.

Connect your own Claude

If you use Claude Code, it can read your list and add to it while you work: "add a task to call the supplier on Friday" or "what's due this week?".

  1. On To-dos, press Connect Claude. Only owners and developers see this.
  2. Press Make a connection. If you have several businesses, choose whether it reaches all of them.
  3. Copy the line it shows and paste it into your terminal as it is. We show it once. Don't swap in your business's name: the name in it is only what Claude Code calls the connection.
  4. Start a new Claude Code session. One that was already open won't see the connection. It works from any folder.

Then ask in your own words:

  • "What's on my SiteBrite to-do list today?"
  • "Add 'Call the supplier' to my SiteBrite to-dos for Friday, high priority, with the label orders."
  • "Add a checklist to the supplier task: confirm the order, ask about delivery, pay the invoice."

You don't need to name your business. A connection made for one business only reaches that one. One made for all your businesses uses the one you made it on, and you can name another: use the name in the Business menu.

Claude can see your tasks, labels and what's due, add tasks, change their details, make them repeat and tick checklist items. Tasks it adds say Added by Claude.

Claude can't finish, reopen or delete a task: you do that here. It can't see anything but to-dos, so no bookings, customers or site content, and it can't reach a business you don't have access to.

The first time, Claude Code asks your permission to use each tool. If you connected before, Claude Code says the connection already exists: run claude mcp remove with the name in your line, then paste the line again.

To stop it, press Connect Claude and then Disconnect. Owners can disconnect anyone's connection on the account. A connection also stops working when its person leaves the team or becomes an editor.

What "today" means

Dates follow your business's time zone, so everyone on your team sees the same Today wherever they are. The time zone comes from your site's business info.

Still stuck?

Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
