Your team

Add the people who work with you once, show them on any page, and give each one a profile page if you like.

Your team lives in one list. Add a person once, and every Team section on your site shows them. Change someone's photo or role in the list, and every page that shows them updates.

Add a person

  1. Click Lists in the left menu, then click Edit team on the Team card.
  2. Click Add person.
  3. Fill in their details (see below). The preview updates as you type.
  4. Click Publish when you're done.

To change someone later, click their name in the list to open them. To remove someone, open them and click Delete. Duplicate makes a copy, handy when two people share most of their details.

What you can fill in

  • Name and Role, like "Owner" or "Lead gardener".
  • Group: optional, like "Office" or "Stylists". It lets a Team section show just one group.
  • Photo: a clear photo of their face works best. People without a photo show their initials instead.
  • Short bio: a sentence or two, shown in Team sections.
  • Credentials: licenses, certifications or training, like "ISA Certified Arborist".
  • Give them a profile page: see Give someone a profile page.
  • Full bio: their longer story, shown on their profile page.
  • Booking button: optional. A button for booking with this person (see Add a booking button for one person).

Change the order

People appear in the order of the list. Use the up and down arrows next to a person to move them.

Show your team on a page

  1. In Lists, click Add to a page on the Team card.
  2. Under Which page?, pick the page, then click Add and edit.
  3. A Team section is added and opened for you.

You can also start a whole page with the Team template: click Pages, then New page. See Add a page.

Under Shown on, the Team card lists every page that shows your team. Click one to go to its section.

Show one group in a section

If you've put people in groups, a Team section can show just one of them, like your stylists on the booking page and your office staff on the contact page.

  1. Open the Team section on the page.
  2. Type the group's name in Only this group, exactly as it's written on each person, like "Stylists".

Leave Only this group empty to show everyone. If no one is in the group you typed, the section is empty, and a publish check warns you.

Team section settings

  • Heading and Intro: the words above your people.
  • Layout: Cards (a grid with photos on top), Rows (photo beside the text), Simple list (compact lines with small photos) or Carousel (visitors swipe or click through).
  • Only this group: see above.
  • Show items one by one as visitors scroll: each person fades in as the section comes into view.

Give someone a profile page

A profile page is a page of its own for one person, with their photo, role, credentials and Full bio. It's good for people customers choose by name, like stylists, trainers or lawyers.

  1. Open the person in Lists › Team.
  2. Turn on Give them a profile page.
  3. Write their Full bio. Without one, the page shows their Short bio.

Their name in Team sections then links to the page, with a "More about" link under their bio. The page's address is made from their name, like /team/maria-lopez. You can change it in Web address, but do it before you share the link, because changing it later breaks old links.

Add a booking button for one person

If customers book with a particular person, give that person their own button.

  1. Open the person and find Booking button.
  2. Type the Button text, like "Book with Maria".
  3. In Goes to, pick a page, or choose Another website… and paste their booking link, like their Calendly or Square page.

The button shows under their bio in Team sections and on their profile page. Leave the Button text empty to hide it. For a booking calendar for the whole business, see Connect a booking calendar.

Still stuck?

Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
