Connect a booking calendar

Let customers book appointments on your site using Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments or Acuity.

The Booking section gives visitors a clear way to book a time with you. It shows a heading, a short intro, up to four helpful details (like "Free 30-minute visit") and a button to your booking page.

With Calendly and Acuity, you can also show the calendar right on your page. It loads only when a visitor clicks, which keeps the page fast. With Cal.com, Square and other services, the button opens your booking page in a new tab.

What you need first

  • An account with Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments or Acuity Scheduling, with your services and hours already set up there.
  • The link to your booking page. You don't need any code or API key.

Your booking service handles everything after the click, like available times, reminders and confirmation emails.

Calendly

  1. Sign in to Calendly and open your scheduling page (the list of your event types).
  2. To link to all your event types, copy your main link (https://calendly.com/your-name). To link to one event type, click Copy link on that event type.

Cal.com

  1. Sign in to Cal.com and open Event Types.
  2. Copy your public page link (https://cal.com/your-name), or copy the link for one event type.

Square Appointments

  1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and open Appointments.
  2. Go to the online booking settings and copy your booking site link.

Acuity Scheduling

  1. Sign in to Acuity and open the page for sharing your scheduling page.
  2. Copy your scheduling page link.

To show the Acuity calendar on your page, the link must contain acuityscheduling.com. Your short link (ending in .as.me) works for the button, but not for the calendar. On the same sharing page, Acuity shows embed code with an address like https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=12345678. Copy just that address.

Add the section

  • From Integrations: click Integrations in the sidebar. On the Booking card, click Add to a page. Choose the page under Which page? and click Add and edit.
  • From a page: open Pages, choose a page, and on the Content tab click Add a section. Pick Booking.

The section is added near the bottom of the page. Use the up and down arrows to move it.

Fill in the fields

  1. Heading and Intro: say what people are booking and how long it takes.
  2. Booking service: choose Calendly, Cal.com, Square or Acuity. If you use something else, choose Other.
  3. Your booking page link: paste the link you copied. It should start with https://.
  4. Button text: for example, "See available times."
  5. Show the calendar on this page: turn this on to show the calendar on your page (Calendly and Acuity only). Leave it off to show a button instead.
  6. Helpful details: click Add detail to add short points, like "No charge for the first visit."

Check it in the preview

The preview shows your heading, details and button. If you turned on Show the calendar on this page, you'll see a box with your button text and "Opens the booking calendar."

Buttons and calendars don't open inside the preview. Test them on your live site after you publish.

Publish

Click Publish at the top right. Your changes go live in about a minute. Then click View live site and book a test appointment to make sure everything works. Cancel it afterward in your booking service.

Troubleshooting

The calendar box doesn't show, just a button. Check three things. Booking service must match the link (Calendly with a Calendly link, Acuity with an Acuity link). The link must start with https://. For Acuity, use the acuityscheduling.com address, not your .as.me link.

The button goes nowhere. Your booking page link is empty. Paste your link.

Visitors see "page not found" at your booking service. You may have copied a link from inside your account, like a settings page. Copy the public link that customers use, and open it in a private browser window to check it.

The wrong services show up. You linked to your main page instead of one event type, or the other way around. Copy the other link.

What it costs

The Booking section is included in your plan. Your booking service charges its own plan prices, and some have free plans. We add nothing on top.

Still stuck?

Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
