Add a podcast or audio
Play podcast episodes or recordings from Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, Podbean or Buzzsprout right on your page.
The Podcast or audio section plays one or more episodes right on your page, each with its own title and description. Visitors see a Listen button for each one. The player only loads when someone presses it, so your page stays fast for everyone else.
What you need first
- The episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, Podbean or Buzzsprout, or an MP3 file at a web address of its own.
- The episode's link, or for Podbean its embed code. You don't need a password or API key.
Find your episode's link
Spotify
- Open the episode in Spotify.
- Click the … (more) button, then Share, then Copy Episode Link.
The link looks like https://open.spotify.com/episode/…. A link to the whole show works too, and so do song, album and playlist links.
Apple Podcasts
- Open the episode in the Podcasts app or on podcasts.apple.com.
- Click the … (more) button, then Copy Link.
The link looks like https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/…?i=….
SoundCloud
- Open the track on SoundCloud.
- Click Share, then copy the link. It looks like
https://soundcloud.com/….
The track has to be public.
Podbean
- Open the episode in your Podbean account.
- Click Share, then Embed, and copy the embed code.
Paste the whole embed code: we take the player from it. The episode's page address (yourshow.podbean.com/e/…) doesn't work here.
Buzzsprout
- Open the episode on your Buzzsprout public page.
- Copy the address from your browser's address bar. It looks like
https://www.buzzsprout.com/123456/episodes/7890123-….
You can paste the episode's embed code from Buzzsprout instead.
An MP3 file
Paste the file's own web address, ending in .mp3 (.m4a and .wav work too). It plays in a simple player of its own.
Add the section
You can add it from either place:
- From Integrations: click Integrations in the sidebar. On the Podcast or audio card, click Add to a page. Choose the page under Which page? and click Add and edit. The section goes near the bottom of the page, and you can move it afterward.
- From a page: open Pages and choose a page. On the Content tab, click Add a section at the bottom (or Add section below inside another section), then pick Podcast or audio.
To move it, use the up and down arrows on the section.
Fill in the fields
- Heading: a few words, like "Listen to the podcast."
- Intro: optional. One or two sentences about the show.
- Under Episodes, click the episode to open it (a new one is called "New episode"), then fill in:
- Link: paste the link or embed code you copied.
- Title: the episode's name.
- Description: optional. A sentence or two about it.
Click Add episode for another one, up to 12. To take one out, click the trash icon on it.
Check it in the preview
The preview on the right updates as you type. When the link is right, the message "Paste a podcast or audio link to show the player here" goes away and a Listen button appears, with the service's name under it.
Players don't load inside the preview. Clicking the section there just opens it for editing. You can test it on your live site after you publish.
Publish
Your edits are saved as a draft. Click Publish at the top right, and your changes go live in about a minute. Then click View live site, find the episode and press Listen.
Troubleshooting
The message "Paste a podcast or audio link" is still showing. The link isn't one we recognize. Copy it again using the steps above. For Podbean, paste the embed code, not the episode's page address.
An episode is missing on the live site. An episode without a working link is left out of your live site, and the publish checks tell you which section it's in. Paste its link, or remove it.
The player says the episode isn't available. Check that the episode is published and public on the podcast service. Some services let you turn off embedding; turn it back on.
What it costs
Adding a podcast or audio is included in your plan. The podcast services charge whatever their own plans cost, and many people use their free plans. We add nothing on top.

Still stuck?
Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
