Wineries, breweries and tasting rooms

A website that fills the tasting room

People look up a tasting room to see when it’s open, what a flight costs, whether kids and dogs are welcome and whether to book. Answer those, post the events, and say the age rules plainly.

The plan with the add-ons we’d suggest: $22 a month billed yearly ($26 month to month).

How a winery or tasting room uses it

Start with the plan alone and add what you need when you need it. Nothing here is a separate login.

  1. Say when you’re open, who may come and what a visit costs

    In the plan

Hours that change by season, the flight and tour prices, and the rules: 21 and over with ID, whether kids and dogs are welcome and whether you serve food. A responsible-drinking line and a plain age statement on the pages that need them.

  2. Book flights and tours by window

    Bookings & RSVPs · +$5/mo

An estate flight, a reserve flight and a cellar tour as appointments with an arrival window, a limit on the group and a fee paid when they arrive, or a deposit when you want one.

  3. Fill your release parties and barrel tastings

    Bookings & RSVPs · +$5/mo

Each event gets its own page with a date, a price and the number of spots left, and a waitlist when it sells out. Past events drop off by themselves.

  4. Explain your club in plain words

    In the plan

What a member gets, how often releases come, how to skip one and how to cancel, with no fee or minimum if that’s true. Members find the terms before they sign up, and sign-ups arrive as a form for you to finish in your club system.

  5. Sell gift cards

Gift cards and coupons · +$2/mo

Gift cards for tastings, tours, events and bottles, with a QR code you scan at the bar. A card can also pay for a booking.

  6. Tell members and visitors what’s new

    Newsletter sending · +$4/mo

A new release, a harvest update, holiday hours. Everyone who signs up goes on your contacts list, and a short newsletter reaches them without a separate email service.

  7. Turn a good tasting into a review

    Review requests · +$3/mo

The day after a visit, a friendly email asks for a Google review with one button. You see who clicked.

  8. Put the wine list on the site

    In the plan

Each wine with its vintage, price and strength, and a plain note on where to buy it. Selling alcohol online and shipping it is regulated state by state, so this page never takes an order for it.

Questions

What owners ask

We don’t suggest it. Rules for selling and shipping alcohol online differ by state and by license, so the example sends visitors to the tasting room and says where to buy. Gift cards, tastings, tours and events can be sold online.

Keep your club system for billing and shipping. The club page explains the terms in plain words, and a sign-up form sends you the request to finish there.

Yes. A guest enters the card’s code when booking, and its balance is taken first. Check that your Stripe account is approved for your kind of business before you sell cards online.
