Florists and flower shops

A website that takes the order and the details

A flower order needs a recipient, an address, a day and a card message, and a sympathy order needs more. Ask for all of it in the order, say your delivery rules in plain words, and take the wedding inquiries too.

The plan with the add-ons we’d suggest: $32 a month billed yearly ($36 month to month).

How a florist uses it

Start with the plan alone and add what you need when you need it. Nothing here is a separate login.

  1. Take the whole order on the product

    Online store · +$10/mo

Each arrangement asks who it’s for, the address, the day, the card message and what to do if a flower is out. A choice between pickup and delivery in each town has its own fee, and sympathy orders ask for the funeral home and the service time. Customers pay by card straight into your own Stripe account, and we take no cut.

  2. Say your delivery rules out loud

    In the plan

The order-by time for same-day, the towns you deliver to and what each costs, the days you’re closed and your substitution policy. State them next to the Add to cart button, and again on a delivery page, since a cart can’t enforce a cutoff for you.

  3. Take wedding and event consultations

    Bookings & RSVPs · +$5/mo

A consultation or an event planning call booked online with a deposit, and a wedding page that says what you do and what it starts at. Workshops, like wreath-making, take sign-ups with a limited number of spots and payment.

  4. Collect a deposit by a link

    Payment requests · +$2/mo

Send a payment request to hold a wedding date, and the couple pays by card on their phone, straight into your own Stripe account.

  5. Sell gift cards

Gift cards and coupons · +$2/mo

Gift cards at the counter or online, with a QR code you scan at the till. They never have to expire.

  6. Remind people before the big days

    Newsletter sending · +$4/mo

Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and the holiday wreath deadline. Customers who sign up, or tick “Email me news and offers” when they order, go on your contacts list, and a short note reaches them without a separate email service.

  7. Ask for the review after the delivery

    Review requests · +$3/mo

The day after an order, a friendly email asks for a Google review with one button. You see who clicked.

  8. Show your own work

    In the plan

Photos of what you make, and a note that arrangements are matched in color and value, not copied stem for stem. Stock photos of someone else’s bouquets cost trust.

Questions

What owners ask

Not yet. The cart can’t refuse an order after a set time or limit deliveries per day, so say your order-by time and your closed days next to the button and on a delivery page, and ask for the delivery date as a question on the order.

Yes. A product can offer a choice of pickup or delivery to each town, and each choice carries its own price. Customers see the fee before they pay.

No. If your orders come through a wire service or another shop system, link to it from a button. The online store is for orders you take on your own site, paid into your own Stripe account.
