Visitor stats and site services

Count visits to your site without cookies with Cloudflare Web Analytics, and what the spam protection and form delivery settings do.

At the bottom of the Integrations screen, Site services holds settings that work behind your whole site rather than in one section.

Count your visitors

Visitor stats (Cloudflare Web Analytics token) turns on Cloudflare Web Analytics. When the box holds a token, every page of your live site loads Cloudflare's small counting script. It counts visits and page views without cookies, so you don't need a cookie banner. You see the numbers in the Cloudflare account the token belongs to.

To count visits in your own free Cloudflare account:

  1. Sign in to Cloudflare, or make an account, and open Web Analytics.
  2. Add your site, using its web address.
  3. Cloudflare shows a short piece of code. Copy just the token: the letters and numbers after "token": ", without the quote marks.
  4. In your editor, click Integrations, and paste the token into Visitor stats (Cloudflare Web Analytics token) under Site services.
  5. Click Publish. Visits count from when the change is live.

Paste the token only, not the whole code. If the box already holds a token, replacing it moves the counting to your account. To stop counting, clear the box and publish.

Advanced settings

Turn on Show advanced settings to see two more:

  • Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile site key): adds an invisible check to your contact forms, booking forms and event sign-ups that stops bots.
  • Contact form delivery address: where form messages go before they reach your Inbox and your email. It's set when your site launches.

Leave both alone unless we ask you to change them. A wrong value can stop form messages from reaching you.

Still stuck?

Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
